Sales and Delivery Policy

Sales & Lead Times

To ensure exceptional quality and attention to detail, we kindly request 3-5 working days for all customized cake orders and a minimum of 3 weeks for wedding cakes.

Our skilled designers will always do their best to bring your vision to life using the details, references, and descriptions you provide. Any elements that are not clearly specified will be finished according to the designer’s professional judgment and artistic discretion.

Cakes & Construction

Many of our 3D cakes and shaped structures may include support materials such as cereal-based mixtures, Styrofoam covered in sugar paste, toothpicks, food-safe wires, wooden or plastic dowels, and internal plates. These items are standard in professional cake design, and while some may be visible, others may not (for example, wires used to stabilize figurines).

Please ensure all support pieces are removed during cutting to avoid any choking hazards.

Cakes must be refrigerated and are best enjoyed 45-60 minutes after being removed from the fridge, in a cool room environment.

Edible Images & Sugar Figures

We can print most images or photographs onto your cake. To guarantee the best possible outcome, please provide a high-resolution image, keeping in mind that printed edible images may appear slightly different in color or sharpness due to edible materials used.

Allergens

At Cake Social, we take great care in the preparation of all our products; however, please note that we are not an allergen-free kitchen. Our cakes and bakes may contain, or may come into contact with, common allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and sesame, among others.

If you or your guests have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform our team at the time of ordering so we can guide you accordingly.
Our goal is always to prioritize your safety while delivering the highest quality products.

Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

Payments may be made through payment link, bank transfer to RAK Bank (bank details available upon request), ATM deposit, cash, or card at our shop.

Customized cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and similar orders must be paid in full at least 3 days before your event date. Wedding cakes must be fully paid at the time of confirmation.

For cancellations, please notify us 72 hours in advance. Eligible cancellations will receive a store credit valid for 3 months. Changes requested within 72 hours of your event cannot be accommodated.

Pickup & Delivery

We guarantee that all cakes and bakes will be delivered within the agreed time frame in perfect condition. Once inspected and accepted, Cake Social is no longer responsible for the item’s condition.

In the rare event of a delay caused by unforeseen circumstances, our team will inform you promptly.

We strongly recommend delivery directly to your event on the same day. If you choose delivery one day prior or to a non-event location, Cake Social cannot take responsibility for the condition of the cake overnight or thereafter. Cakes must always be refrigerated. If a replacement is needed and we are available to prepare one, it will be charged in full.

We deliver across the UAE.

  • Dubai: 2-hour time slots
  • Other Emirates: deliveries between 14:00 – 21:00, timing cannot be guaranteed

If you require a specific delivery time, please contact our team for applicable charges. Alternatively, you may order your cake one day in advance and store it in a chilled, dry place for your event.

Once a time slot is confirmed, any changes on the day of delivery are subject to availability and may incur charges.

If our delivery team arrives within the agreed window and you are unavailable, we will do our best to accommodate you, while also maintaining our delivery schedule. If the driver must leave, our operations team will contact you to arrange a possible redelivery or pickup, along with any related fees.

Pickup Orders

All pickup orders must be paid 72 hours in advance via bank transfer, online payment, ATM deposit, card, or cash. Unpaid orders will not be confirmed.

If you choose to pick up your cake, please note that many custom cakes are heavy, delicate, and require careful handling. Always inspect your cake at pickup to ensure it is in perfect condition.

Cake Social is not responsible for any damage that occurs after the cake leaves our premises due to handling, transportation, storage, or setup.

Pickups are available from our shop in Lakepoint Tower, JLT Cluster N, Shop R3B.

Cancellations (Office Hours)

Our office hours are 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, seven days a week.
Any cancellation requests received after 7:00 pm will be considered the following day.

Confirmed customized cakes cancelled less than 72 hours before the event remain fully chargeable.

Complaints & Resolution

If there are any concerns with your cake, we are often able to make small adjustments or corrections, such as spelling or minor design fixes, before your event. Please contact us within 30 minutes of receiving your order so we can assist.

While complaints are rare, we take them very seriously. Some issues may require further assessment, and we may request the cake (or part of it) to be returned so our team can properly evaluate it.

Once reviewed, the maximum refund offered is the value of the cake excluding delivery fees. Additional compensation is not available.

Our goal is to evaluate all complaints objectively and resolve them as appropriate.
